How to calculate your GPA

  1. The transcript of the accredited college or university from which the most recent bachelor’s degree has been granted or is expected; or
  2. The transcript of the accredited college or university from which there are 12 or more hours of graded graduate work taken after the bachelor’s degree, or from which a graduate degree has been granted or is expected.

International students: How to calculate your GPA

The WSU Graduate School uses a 4-point scale format which indicates a

  • 4.00 = A
  • 3.00 = B
  • 2.00 = C
  • 1.00 = D and
  • 0.0 = F

If your cumulative GPA is in a format other than this, convert it from your current format prior to reporting it.
