Accreditation
Every ten years Washington State University reviews and
evaluates the entire institution in a process that takes
nearly three years. We test ourselves against standards
developed
and revised over time by the membership of the
Northwest Commission
on Colleges and Universities .
In preparing the self-study report and visit, WSU demonstrates how it meets each standard and element of the commission’s eligibility requirements and accreditation standards, and all other applicable policies. During this self-study, we make our best efforts to provide a succinct, thoughtful, and analytical document that includes an appraisal of our strengths, weaknesses, and achievements relative to each standard.
